Ashurai art mourning is held from 3rd Muharram to the end of Safar (July 20th to September 14th) in Azadi Tower Cultural Art Complex.

According to the public relations report of Azadi Tower; The mourning exhibition of Ashurai art, including 56 posters, will be held in collaboration with the visual arts center of the art field with Ashurai concepts in the gallery cafe, mirror hall, and ethnic hall of the Azadi art cultural complex.Also, 80 photo frames of mourning ritual, culture and customs of Iranian cities will be displayed in the Ashura photo exhibition, which is organized in cooperation with the artistic deputy of Tehran Municipality's cultural and artistic organization.
The painting exhibition including 10 magnificent works from the visual arts treasure of Azadi Tower and the infographic exhibition introducing the Companions of Karbala conceptually are among the other programs of this artistic mourning.Accordingly, the opening ceremony of this artistic funeral will be held on July 19, which coincides with the third day of Muharram, from 16:00 with the presence of cultural managers and artists.
Theater performance and field show, reed playing and ritual music, Ashurai veil reading, stool reading, performance of art shows, calligraphy and painting art workshops, mourning procession, etc. are among the opening programs of this mourning.
This event was held with the aim of spreading and developing the Ashura culture and emphasizing on ritual arts, and one of its most important features is dealing with the great event of Ashura and its philosophy.
Those who are interested can visit this mourning from 19 July to 14 September every day except Saturdays from 9 am to 8 pm.
