In celebration of the birth anniversaries of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abolfazl Abbas (AS), the book The Epic of Iran’s Devotion—a richly illustrated and scholarly work on the Ashura culture in Iran—will be unveiled at the Simulation Hall of the Azadi Tower Cultural and Artistic Complex.

According to the Public Relations Office of Azadi Tower, this book is the result of years of research and heartfelt devotion to Imam Hussein (AS). Compiled by a group of writers with concept development and photography by Majid Farzadmehr, the book features 500 images related to Ashura, a historical overview of mourning traditions in Iran, retellings of Ashura narratives, and an artistic and literary exploration of the Karbala tragedy.
The Epic of Iran’s Devotion stands as a tribute to the enduring love of the Iranian people for the culture of Ashura. The project was initiated and dedicated by the “Soldiers of Abolfazl” from the Abolfazli Heyaat of Aran and Bidgol as a spiritual offering from devoted hearts.
The book includes contributions from renowned scholars and artists such as Mohammad Dehghani Arani, Seyfollah Aminian, Meysam Namaki, Mohammad Khodadad, Heydarali Enayati, Zohreh Mezian Fard, Mehdi Sotoudeh, Abbas Heydarzadeh, Majid Farzadmehr, and Sajjad Sadeghi.
