The Azadi Tower Cultural and Artistic Complex is hosting an exhibition titled "Mirror of Love," featuring traditional coffeehouse paintings, in the Mirror Hall during the last ten days of the month of Safar.
According to the Azadi Tower Public Relations, the exhibition will be open to the public on Wednesday and Thursday, September 7 and 8, showcasing several artworks, including oil paintings and Ashura and Darvish scenes by both veteran and young coffeehouse painters.
The event will include live Ashura scene performances by Master Mohammad Mostafa Fathi, along with workshops, lectures by experts in ritual literature and coffeehouse painting during the opening ceremony with the presence of cultural and artistic managers and artists on the first day. On the second day, Dr. Hajar Salimi-Namin will conduct a research session on the role of mythology and religious beliefs in coffeehouse painting.
Visitors can attend the "Mirror of Love" exhibition on September 7 and 8 from 10 AM to 7 PM at the Mirror Hall in the Azadi Tower Complex.
