The ceremony commemorating Persian Language and Literature Day, known as Shahriar Day, will be broadcast live from the main hall of Azadi Tower on Tuesday, September 17, from 9:00 PM on the "Tar o Toranj" program on the Education Network (Sima).
According to the Public Relations Office of Azadi Tower, "Tar o Toranj," a specialized magazine on poetry and music, in collaboration with the Rudaki Foundation, the Office for the Preservation of the Persian Language at the Art Bureau, and Azadi Tower, will hold a special program for the celebration of Persian Language and Literature Day and in honor of Shahriar.
The main hall of Azadi Tower will also host special guests in the field of poetry and music on this occasion.
The special program will feature Professor Dr. Ghadamali Serami (literary scholar, writer, poet), Yousefali Mirshakkak (literary scholar), Dr. Balram Shukla (India's cultural attaché in Iran, Hafez scholar and poet), Hamed Asgari and Arezou Ghahfarrokhi (poets), Azim Fallah (calligraphy artist), along with performances by two music groups led by Mohammadreza Khadem, and singing by Mohammad Hashem Ahmadvand, as well as Hossein Zaheri (storyteller).
The event will be hosted by Seyed Hossein Motaleyan and Esmaeil Bastani.
This special program, titled "Tar o Toranj," commemorating Persian Language and Literature Day and Shahriar Day, produced by Davood Najafi Barzegar, will be broadcast live on Tuesday, September 17, from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM on the Education Network (Sima).
