A specialized panel discussion titled "The Role of Women Artists in Contemporary Iranian Painting and Calligraphy" will be held at Azadi Tower.

According to the Public Relations Office of Azadi Tower, Master Javad Bakhtiari will deliver a lecture at this seminar on Friday, December 20, at 3:00 PM. The event is part of the third day of the "Iran Zamin Art Festival" and will take place in the small cinema hall of the complex.
Javad Bakhtiari is one of Iran's most distinguished contemporary calligraphers and a master of the Nasta'liq script. He holds a degree in electronics from Shiraz University and a degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tehran University. Recognized as a leading calligraphy master, he is renowned for his "golden handwriting" in Nasta'liq, a testament to his esteemed reputation. In 1997, he won the Tehran International Calligraphy Festival.
Attendance at this event is free and open to the public.
From December 18 to December 23, 2024, the "Iran Zamin Art Festival" will feature various programs throughout the Azadi Tower Cultural and Artistic Complex.
